Costume Designer: The Miracle Worker

Angela is very excited to make her debut in Denver and collaborate with Art Manke again. Angela is a Los Angeles based designer who works extensively in theatre with more than 70 productions in Southern California. Her costume and set design credits include Taking Steps, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, Nothing Sacred, View From The Bridge, The Retreat From Moscow, Dumb Show, Princess Marjorie at South Coast Repertory; The Constant Wife at Pasadena Playhouse; The Ice Breaker at the Laguna Playhouse; Christmas on Mars and The Winter’s Tale at The Old Globe; The Cherry Orchard at Georgia Shakespeare; A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Hollywood Bowl; The Seagull, The Winter’s Tale (LADCC Award nomination), Another Part of the Forest (LADCC Award), Little Foxes (Garland Award), The Three Penny Opera (Drama Logue award), Cyrano de Bergerac, Bus Stop at A Noise Within; Ancestral Voices at The Falcon Theatre; Cabaret and The Much Ado Musical (Drama Logue Award) at West Coast Ensemble; and The Sunshine Boys and Harvey at La Mirada Center for the Performing Arts. Besides theatre, she has designed costumes and sets for 16 film and television productions in the US and her native country Romania. Angela is a resident artist at A Noise Within Theatre in Glendale. She is an MFA graduate in Set and Costume Design from The Academy of Arts in Bucharest, Romania.
