Understudy in Dusty and the Big Bad World

A graduate of the Stella Adler Conservatory in New York City, Tracy joins the Denver Center Theatre Company for an eighth season, having appeared in Picnic, The Skin of Our Teeth, Cyrano de Bergerac and others. She’s performed at The Kennedy Center, Mark Taper Forum, Los Angeles Theatre Center, Alaska Repertory Theatre and in the National Tour of Steel Magnolias. Denver work includes Closer, Pride’s Crossing and Marvin’s Room. Ms. Shaffer is an award-winning playwright, who has worked with the National New Play Network, Curious Theatre Company’s New Works, Telluride Playwright Festival, Playwright’s Showcase of the Western Region, New Rocky Mountain Voices One-act Competition and in The Denver Center’s TheatreFest as a member of its Playwright’s Unit. Her play Saints & Hysterics was produced as part of Paragon Theatre Company’s 2004 season.
